French artist Claude Morin was born in Lorraine in 1946. After attending the National Superior School of Decorative Arts of Strasbourg and Fine Arts of Lausanne, he created his first sculpture for President Georges Pompidou. Alain Coudert summarizes Morin’s style: "There is something of Faust in this man who, through an art mastered to perfection, appeals to the eternal freshness of feeling.” His works are present in numerous private collections in France and abroad.
