Fabrice Domenet

Born in 1963, Fabrice Domenet is from the city of Biarritz and lives and works in Paris. Initially trained in choreographic studies, he practiced the profession of dancer while at the same time devoting himself to photography, which he practiced as a self-taught artist. A close relationship exists between these two areas, which he has never been able to separate. He thus questions respectively the relationship of the body-presence to space and time while seeking, from a physical experience, to modify our states of perception. 

Coming from the "silver" generation, he invested very young in his first camera and simultaneously acquired a photographic enlarger. He then practiced black and white printing in the darkroom. Spotted by image experts during the "Photo Doc" 2015 portfolio reading meetings organized by Carré-sur-Seine in Paris, he exhibited for the first time at the Festival Voies Off Arles in 2016. Since then, he has been invited to exhibit in various galleries in Paris, the provinces and abroad.
