Wayne Danza

Born in 1986 in the north of France, Wayne Danza is an illustrator artist with a degree in graphic design. His tool? The blue Bic pen.

With this object so everyday and conventional, he reproduces in a very realistic way photos of stars, movie characters, often the darkest and most tortured. Surrounded by VHS since childhood, the young Julien before becoming an artist, immersed in film culture. These moments shared with his father, watching the classics of the big screen, marked and are anchored in the artist to the point of always showing through and inspiring his work. Remembrance, nostalgia and creation are intrinsically linked in the creations of Wayne Danza.

This great cinephile, whose artist name is partly inspired by the character of Batman, sets no limits in the choice of his subjects. His first works were moreover on vanities. The artist expresses himself on different media: drawing paper, fabrics, wood, real cinema tickets ... His impressive mastery, close to goldsmithing, produces a truly astonishing result.
