His characters, his fish, and his hysterical collage question the very foundations of our urbanism and territorial planning: His painting infiltrates the heaviness of your districts, your blocks, squares, squares, he cuts your (femoral) arteries with a spray of spray, rips off your (peripheral) belts and dispossesses you of your small, large and medium-sized crowns. His hijacking of pop culture and iconoclastic approach explores the world around us and its overfed consciousnesses, the cholesterol-filled cul-de-sacs of post-industrial civilisation and all our emotional dead ends. He takes the fast track to self-affirmation and begins a fascinating work of deciphering the mystique of the city, the metaphysics of the bitumen. From the monsters hidden in our childhood cupboards and in the dark recesses of our subconscious to the walls of the city, the work of Yosh, in eternal process, work in progress, draws the contours of a protean and joyful urban imaginary.
