Trained initially in utilitarian ceramics, I «fell» into modeling almost by accident and have never stopped to explore the possibilities since. I found the perfect way to tell the stories I hear every day, in my surroundings, the surrounding nature, my readings.

My approach is primarily part of a poetic exploration of everyday life. Very sensitive to aesthetics and Japanese culture, I consider my creations as short poems, in the tradition of the Haikus. I shape sculptures, jewellery or utilitarian pieces with always, the same will to fix a suspended moment.

   My pieces are generally made of sandstone from Saint Amand in Puisaye and undergo one to two cooking up to 1280 degrees in an electric oven. They do not seek the greatest realism but must release life and emotion while remaining as simple as possible. Also they are little decorated, I favor natural colors, the use of iron oxide or manganese and some touches of slip.
