Roberto Cavalli

Roberto Cavalli, a photographer, was born out of a passion for photography in 1995. On November 30, 2021, he crossed the threshold of professionalization, a decision that marked a major turning point in his life. This process required 26 years of maturation, a gestation period culminating in a choice that profoundly transformed his artistic trajectory.

Beginning his artistic journey at the age of twenty, Roberto initially turned to sculpture, exploring this medium as his primary means of expression. The heterogeneous materials and scrap metal he assembled were transformed in his hands into postmodern compositions. These works, conveying decadence, imperfection, and solitude, reflected the artist's critical gaze on a contemporary world that was both advanced and indifferent. This reflection continued over the years, generating new artistic forms in perpetual evolution, until his decisive encounter with photography.

Photography, the ultimate means of expression, has allowed him to capture everyday moments, sublimating their deep essence. Each shot becomes a window onto life, revealing the warm intensity of a gaze, the desolate melancholy of architecture, or the bitter irony of an advertising poster. Projects such as "VISIONI" and "PASSAGES" demonstrate the almost surrealist play he engages in, exploring the visual dimension with a unique and insightful eye.
