Roger Rossell (Barcelona, 1977), is a photographer with two very different aspects. On the one hand he has worked for the last 15 years photographing scenic arts around the world, especially dance and theater, featured in various European countries, the United States, Mexico, Israel, South Korea and Japan.
His personal work has the human being at its center. The topics of his works revolve around the concepts of identity, privacy, intimacy and eroticism. Working mainly with chemical photography and interested in all the phases of the process, he has spent the last years researching and experimenting with historical printing techniques, such as cyanotype, gum bichromate and carbon transfer. His photographs have been exhibited in Lima, Barcelona, Florence, Minsk, Berlin and Düsseldorf.
