
Biography
Jadé Fadojutimi is a British abstract painter, based in London. Born in 1993, she received her MFA from the Royal College of Art in 2017.
Fadojutimi works are inspired by a vast array of cultures and locations, in particular, Japanese culture - Fadojutimi completed a residency in Japan in 2016 and frequently travels to the country. Her artistic process also relies heavily on her writings which Fadojutimi uses to enrich her practice. Fadojutimi's canvases are imbued with a strong sense of movement and transformation, heightened by her bold, uncompromising brushstrokes.
Recent solo exhibitions of Fadojutimi's works have taken place in London (2019) and Miami (2021). Her works were displayed at the 2022 edition of the Venice Biennale.
