Presentation
Raised in the Welsh hinterland, Eleanor Lakelin first worked on educational projects in Europe and West Africa before training as a cabinetmaker in 1995.
Working exclusively with trees grown in Britain and felled for disease, her extensive knowledge and interest in the natural properties of wood results in forms that encourage us to look at the complexity of nature with a fresh perspective.
Her works are present in the collections of the most prestigious museums such as the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Museum of London and the Mint Museum in the United States.
