Biography
Kunka Dimitrova is a Bulgarian artist, born in 1963 in Sofia.
Education: National High School of Arts, Sofia and National Academy of Arts, Sofia, majoring in sculpture under Prof. Velichko Minekov.
She says, “My sculptures are mostly ceramic with colored glazing. Sometimes I combine ceramics with bronze elements. Female figures with floral motifs are widespread in my art. The combination of form and color is important to my work. I also make unusual decorative dishes.'
Active since 1991. Sculptures are owned by private collections in Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, England, Slovenia, Germany, Turkey, South Korea, Ireland, and Hungary.
