

Biography
A graduate of the Foumban Institute of Fine Arts, Romeo Temwa known as Romy is a visual artist from the far north of Cameroon, who lives and works in Douala.
He refines his visual approach by working with the workshops of elders such as Ruth Belinga, David Nkot and Herve Youmbi. Winner of various competitions, among others, best IBAF designer, first prize CSC Cameroon.
His work questions socio-media realities by subtly exploring the mechanisms of opinion control through information. The artist is interested in the different mechanisms of manipulation and control of opinion via the media. In the form of fragmented subjects, which constitute the bulk of his works, he represents the individual as a pawn on the social chessboard and seeks to question the impact of poorly relayed information.
