Biography
Clémence Veilhan was born in Paris in 1980. She graduated in 1998 in Visual Arts. She worked on the production of plays with Rodolfo Natale for a while and then in the making of many documentaries (production & director's assistant).
Later, in parallel to her work, she also studied Cinema at Université Paris III - Sorbonne Nouvelle. In 2007, she bought a photo camera & started working on a project about little girls identity issues. This is her second serie on this theme.
She was influenced by artists such as Cindy Sherman, William Klein, Richard Avedon, David Lynch, Brassai, Nobuyoshi Araki, Sally Mann, Richard Kern, Milomir Kovacevic, and Alain Fleischer.
