Photographes de célébrités
Depuis aussi longtemps que les stars existent, les paparazzis et les photographes d'art s'efforcent de capturer leur image. Et l'art singulier de la photographe de célébrités repose sur la fait de capturer un personnnage dans son entièreté, qu'il soit le plus attachant du monde ou absolument intouchable. D'ailleurs, la plupart de ces artistes passent beaucoup de temps avec ces icônes lors de séances de photos privées, offrant parfois un grand nombre d'œuvres non découvertes des années plus tard. Parmi eux, la célèbre photographe Annie Leibovitz a révélé son talent pour créer une connexion entre le photographe et le sujet. Mais son travail permet aussi d'exprimer la puissance d'une émotion à travers l'art, créée pour être exposée aux spectateurs. Ainsi, elle privilégie un cadrage généralement classique et un décor théâtral, les postures des corps étant comparées à des compositions baroques. Parmi la sélection réalisée par Artsper, retrouvez les œuvres de Kevin Westenberg et de Bert Stern. Ce dernier est un photographe de mode, spécialiste des portraits de stars et mondialement connu pour The Last Sitting, une collection de 2 500 photographies de Marilyn Monroe prises pour Vogue sur une période de trois jours, six semaines avant sa mort en 1962.
