In the search for thought in forgotten memory, there are underlying figures, genealogies of forms, which make the visualization process corporeal and objectifiable, and predispose to solidify the two-dimensional surface into explosions of color, shapes, and haunting vibrations that make up visual puzzles. Pieces that do not finish articulating, that assemble and, at the same time, detach from all possible forms, which surround, subdue and observe.
Metaphors, hitherto inhibited signs and new substances, new realities, new presences…
Like a kaleidoscope made up of works, the curatorial narrative mirrors a world in a constant movement dominated by mechanical and repetitive images combined with moments of introspection. As in the film “Ballet mécanique” directed by Fernand Léger and Dudley Murphy, countless compositional elements seem to sharpen as they keep on appearing on stage, developing sensitivity, giving speed to the creative imagination, and giving a sense of simultaneity and omnipresence.
Framed in the world event that is ART BASEL, Galería Azur Miami’s new group show invites the audience to observe the artwork looking for riskier encounters, conceptual proposals, and different narratives.
