Through this new exhibition, Rosario Heins continues to appropriate the natural and cultural elements of the Caribbean. "What I paint is an ode to the joy of living, a metaphor for my landscape and my smile.
It also reflects the voluptuousness of the bright colors that blend together without complex, the overwhelming humid heat of the tropics, and the bright light that explodes on my canvases to transmit happiness and affection," says the artist.

It is also a reflection on the dualities that inhabit these places: the privileged tourists and the often precarious workers who bring the beach to life. This cohabitation of two worlds, that of dreams and reality, is part of Rosario Heins' paintings, offering a universal vision that transcends borders. His works thus become the place of all utopias, a space where contrasts are reconciled, if only for the time of a shared glance with the visitor.
