Biography

Jorge Miño (b. 1973, Corrientes, Argentina) at the Escuela Superior de Arte Carlos Morel (with orientation to printmaking and printing techniques) and in numerous seminars on photography and film. His awards include the Third Prize of Itaú Cultural (2010), the First Prize of the Salón Nacional de Rosario (2007) and the Second Prize of Photography and Science of the Centro Cultural Recoleta (2006), in Argentina. He has participated in numerous collective and individual exhibitions in public and private institutions, including the Biennial of Curitiba (Brazil), Centro Cultural España (Buenos Aires), Museo de Arquitectura de Buenos Aires (MARQ), Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires (MAMBA), Museo MACAY (Mérida, Mexico), Enlace Gallery (Lima) and Dot Fiftyone Gallery (Miami), among others. In 2018 KBB published "Transversal", a monographic book about his work that covers the years 2007 to 2017. For 24 years Miño worked as an assistant to artist Guillermo Kuitca. He lives and works in Buenos Aires.
