Biography
Luce Lamoureux paints luminous and dazzling works suggesting flower shapes with elegance and a bit of madness.
At the beginning of her career, this artist was fascinated by the watercolor medium which, not allowing error, made her face many challenges. For several years, his favorite subject has shifted to the medium of acrylic, which will lead him to a broader interpretation of his subject. Now, Luce Lamoureux explores acrylic with exceptional skill while letting us discover the flowers that she interprets in a very whimsical way.
This artist transports us to another world, unreal, going as far as the abstraction of the floral form. A lot of movement and a beautiful gesture where the line and the colored shapes transport us in an exceptional daydream. Her works are also an intimate journey where we feel the play between the brilliance of light and the effects of matter allowing her brush to render a stylization belonging only to the personal vision of this artist.
She obtained a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Quebec in Montreal and she took courses and workshops with various renowned painters. She can be found in several solo exhibitions each year. His works are shown at the Art et Miss Gallery in Paris, the Richelieu Art Gallery, the Symbol Art Gallery in Montreal, Christine Genest Gallery in Cap Santé.
