Biography
Claire Cosnefroy (Born in 1980 in Coutances, France) is a ceramicist based in Paris, France. Inspired by nature, time and the interactions between living beings, she develops a singular language by shaping pinched and colombin stoneware and porcelain objetcs and sculptures.
Her practice is articulated around the search for an instinctive gesture in a speed of execution, in order to support a spontaneous setting in shape of her ideas. Far from a desire for perfection, she favors the emergence of emotion emanating from simple and raw forms. After years navigating between fashion and music, she now fully commits herself to clay.
