Biography
Holder of a master's degree in conservation-restoration of paintings, Hélène Dupérier has worked for more than 20 years in Paris for national museums, historical monuments, studies of auctioneers and individuals.
In 2015, after having had works by great painters such as Veronese, Picasso or Warhol in her hands, the desire to paint, to tell her own story became obsessive when she returned to live in the postcard setting of the Landes coast.
In her creations she seeks to reflect its soft light, its grandiose landscapes, the forest, the ocean, its majestic waves, its immense beaches. Walkers, swimmers, children and grandmothers, sporty or lazy punctuate the production of this ocean lover.
Over the course of her long walks, she captures images that will become paintings, customized surfboards...
The Landes, the Basque coast are now the setting in which Hélène draws her inspiration. However, she will not hesitate to go up along the Atlantic coast to explore the Jade Coast.
