All of his work and creative process are based on three key elements: exploration of the unconscious, improvisation and chance. His painting comes from the unconscious. It starts from the absence of any idea to come to the idea.
For Marta Anglada, painting is a process that allows you to give substance to your thoughts
through abstract or narrative universes.
From his work, emerges a non-voluntary, non-reflective figuration which aims to broaden collective consciousness.
Color controls the gesture through a formal vocabulary that uses primary geometric shapes.
We also observe rudimentary constructions where beings appear who seem to carry messages. Who are they ? Will they harm us or support us?
In this context, is it possible that in the act of creation, the artist wants to surround himself with benevolent forces which animate his creation? Yes, it is then a ritual that Marta Anglada performs to transmit these forces to the spectator.
His work has already been exhibited in around a hundred exhibitions in France and abroad and won several public commissions.
