Biography
Drawing was one of my favorite activities as a child. I used colored pencils and markers. I was always attracted to very colorful subjects such as flowers, butterflies and landscapes. Self-taught, it was around the age of 30 that I started painting using oil paint and acrylic.
It is through the beauty of nature, the generosity of its colors and its shapes that I draw my inspiration, from countryside and seaside landscapes, but also from photographs of insects, birds, trees... Sometimes, current events or spiritual themes are the subject of my paintings.
I participated in a few solo and group exhibitions, notably with an association of painters from Vendée with whom, when time permitted, I painted in the marshes, on the beach, in the forest. This immersion in nature, this experience with other painters was very rich artistically but also humanly.
In search of “true", “beautiful" and “rejuvenating", I paint when I am well and hope that through my paintings I diffuse some positive energies and a little serenity.
