Marie-Josèphe STENNE is the sculptor of polar bears in raku.

Biography

Born March 18, 1942 and daughter of a sculptor father, Pierre Stenne, Marie-Josèphe Stenne studied at the Beaux Arts in Lille. Her main works are terracottas and her favorite theme is polar bears which she has depicted in various postures. Since 1989 she has taught modeling techniques.
