Brigitte Bibard-Guillon

Attracted by all forms of art, she began taking drawing and painting lessons in 1985 at the Thouars School of Plastic Arts. Since then, she has never stopped painting and giving free rein to her fantasy and imagination through various experiments with materials and colors. Returning to Poitiers, her town of origin, she continued her artistic activities at the School of Fine Arts and diversified her knowledge in different fields such as sculpture, modeling, cyanotype but especially engraving which she practices assiduously parallel to the painting. More recently, she started working with enamels on copper.

Here she presents a series of small formats, oil paintings in the spirit of lyrical abstraction, imaginary landscapes inspired by the colors of the sky and nature.

She has exhibited her work in different places in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region since the 1990s.
