Biography

I discovered traditional wool felting around twenty years ago and immediately developed a great passion for this ancestral technique, the first fabric made by man, over 8,000 years ago.

The magic of nature allows me to create the material at the same time as making a piece, either flat for paintings where I draw with the wool, or in volume for sculptures. It's an evolving process, with softness to start with, then great strength for the felting stage.

I won the Prix Européen du Feutre in 2015 and show my work at various textile art exhibitions and work in Mayenne.
