Biography
Imagilaire is a group that has done numerous exhibitions, sometimes in collaboration with architects or with big engineering schools, students of elementary school or even with centers of disabled people. Imagilaire is known, among others ,as the finalist of the photo contest of the Rock en Seine Festival.
Architecture is the group's favorite subject, especially through the roads. With their photographic camera, they inspect the sidewalks which they stride with insatiable curiosity. The sense of aesthetic detail and geometric constructions play a main role in the work of Imagilaire.
In 2015, they did photographic prints on brushed aluminium, where white was replaced by the raw aspect of aluminium, whether to resemble an element of the original building or to create a metallic illusion and divert the image. In 2008, they did an exhibition "Sur la Corde" in Carhaix. A year later, they did a solo exhibition "The Concerts of Longjumeau" and continue exhibiting their work to this day..
