Agathe Brahami-Ferron is a ceramic artist who graduated from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
Interested in the society of appearances, she shapes outrageous characters, like a Martin Parr of ceramics. Skin reddened by tanning, flashy gold glasses, and dripping skin, she offers us a distorting mirror (but perhaps not so much) of our consumerist world.
Through its totems of various shapes, it materializes a kind of neo-religion which encompasses us all: that of like, of sexuality and of the body.
From painting to ceramic sculptures, Agathe Brahami Ferron has developed a dialogue between several mediums, in order to investigate unexplored corners of her universe so close to ours. We find there pell-mell blue homunculi, pseudo-humans with reddened skin, excessive attributes and totems bearing witness to an over-sexualized society.
In 2023, she was a laureate of the Biennale de Paname, and held a large solo exhibition at the Palacio Cadaval (Portugal) with the Galerie Sabine Bayasli. She has been exhibited in leading galleries of contemporary art in Paris such as the Backslash Gallery and the Galerie LJ.
