Biography
Ann Dunbar, a renowned mixed media artist, was born and raised in the UK. She received a BA in Art from West Surrey College of Art and a Teaching Diploma from Southbank University. In 1996, Ann made the decision to permanently relocate to France, where she has since made a significant impact on the art world.
Throughout her career, Ann has showcased her talent in 45 solo exhibitions and 120 group exhibitions worldwide. Her work has attracted attention and admiration, leading to the acquisition of many pieces by private and corporate collections. Notable collections include Infinium UK, HP Project Hong Kong, China and the Ecole de Paris in Japan, Marie Curie, Paris.
Recently, Ann's exceptional artistic abilities have been recognized with several prestigious awards. She was awarded the Merit Award by the Biancoscuro 2023 Art Competition. In addition, she was awarded the “Artist of the Year" trophy by ArtExpo and was awarded the prestigious “Médaille de vermeil 2022" by the Académie Arts-sciences-Lettres de Paris. Her achievements also include the Bronze Medal by Artlookone in France and the 2021 “Collectors Vision" International Award by Contemporary Art Curator Magazine in the United States. These distinctions mark the 56th award in Ann's illustrious career.
As a testament to her talent and dedication, Ann is a proud member of the Taylor Foundation in Paris, the Cercle des Artistes Européens, Drouot Cotation and an ambassador for British-born artists for the Académie Arts-Sciences-Lettres in Paris. Her contributions to the art world continue to inspire and captivate audiences around the world.
