Jean Philippe Raymond

After studying drama, Jean-Philippe Raymond worked for many years in an artistic agency and then at the Théâtre de l'Atelier.

At the same time, he participated in the creation of literary and musical evenings within Artec (European Center for Cultural Exchanges with Central and Eastern Europe) around Russian, Polish, Gypsy, Slovenian poetry, etc., where he acts as a narrator.

He also organizes reading cycles at the Cinéma L'Entrepôt around Anna Akhmatova and Marina Tsvetaeva and other poets.

He collaborated with the musical duo Grisenti-Vitantonio for the show Sur les pas de Lise dedicated to the cellist Lise Cristiani.

His practice of drawing and painting are closely linked to literature.

His cycle of drawings entitled “Des Gens…" (Indian ink and watercolor inks) was exhibited for the first time in 2024 at the Galerie Christian Croset – Atelier Art Actuel.

He is currently working on a collection of texts entitled Quand même!, as well as writing a novel, and is continuing his cycle “Des Gens…".
