Ludovic Pessin is an artist from the Lille metropolitan area.

His pictorial work focuses on writing and is the subject of exhibitions and performances.

There is a writing that is larger than what we put on a page. The one that we shape at every moment.

Our words, movements, thoughts, breathing… are writings that come to life on another level.
Our writing lives in the moment and spreads like the resonance of a sound that diffuses in an unlimited space. Everything is writing … is the purpose of my artistic work.

Today I create with my hand, without any other tools. This is done through gesture, a movement of the wrist, the arm, the body. Breathing takes place. The moment is captured by painting, sometimes in a dazzling way, sometimes in a contemplative way, then silence sets in. The writing is posed.

My writing is the materialization of my gesture. It is not a focus on a subject but the energizing of what I carry. It is at this level that all writing is situated, in the sincerity of the gesture. Writing is all the more present as the energy transmitted to it is present.
