Biography
Elisabeth MIONE is a French artist born in 1956 and living in Nice - Since her adolescence she has been passionate about painting, going every week to the Louvre to contemplate the works of the great masters - In 1971, she entered the Elisa Lemonnier School of Graphic Arts in Paris, from which she graduated - She then made her career in interior design, abandoning the brushes a little - It was only in 2024, a few months ago, that she decided to take up painting again and had an exhibition at the Palais de la Méditerranée in Nice, an exhibition whose success was resounding, already making her an "emerging" artist - She mainly uses oil on canvas, sometimes enriched with gold leaf-
Her figurative work focuses on portraits of women, celebrating their beauty across different eras (Renaissance - Roaring Twenties), her work evoking the eternal woman.
