Biography
Patrice Bouvier was born in 1953, classical studies, baccalaureate then commercial studies and Masters of photography in Paris VIII Saint Denis At the 30x40 club, he met the great photographers of the second part of the 20th century. In Arles, he frequents meetings for years, continues Workshops, with Eva Rubinstein, Hélène Theret, Yan Dieuzaide, Then in search of Brodovitch, he meets Georges Tourdjman who develops his teaching method, combining professionalism and creativity. In 1977, Patrice Bouvier became a freelance photographer. Since then, he has developed a work as a reporter and portrait painter, based on personal research. In 1981, “Contrejour” published “Achille Zavatta, le cirque auaily”. In 1993, he joined the Rapho Agency, published the book "Les Contorsionnistes", with a text by Roland Topor. Patrice Bouvier has exhibited in many places and events, including; Paris Photo Month (2000), Visa pour l'Image Perpigan, Bratislava Photo Month, Taiwan Museum of Modern Art, Photographic Museum of Finland in Helsinski.
