Biography
Using traditional techniques such as oil painting or ink drawing, Michaël Brack creates a universe that borders on the fantastic, distillating strange, melancholic and sometimes slightly unsettling atmospheres.
Empty houses, deserted roads, corridors drowned in shadows, cities plunged in the night or disused industrial zones constitute the favored sceneries of his works, where sometimes one encounters isolated characters, often females, seemingly lost in a solitary reverie.
Mysterious and evocative images, of which the spectator is brought to draw its own interpretation.
