Biography
It was in 2009 that Marie Palazzo first presented her work during a cultural exchange with the city of Tucson in Arizona. Then there are exhibitions and fairs. The art is currently presented in galleries in France but also abroad (Switzerland, Belgium, United Kingdom, Italy, Luxembourg).
Whether in painting or sculpture, Marie Palazzo’s subjects are imaginary characters, often young girls or young women. Only the postures of the bodies or the inclinations of the heads, allow us to guess a state of mind or a feeling emanating from the created characters, giving rise to emotions that bring us back to our own experience.
Marie Palazzo lives and works in Uzès in the Gard since 2010.
