Agnès Tiollier – Painter, The Art of Light and Colors

Born in Lyon into a family passionate about art, Agnès Tiollier immersed herself in the world of painting from a very young age. Attracted by colors and drawing, she dreamed of becoming a stylist and naturally explored the world of textiles and design.

After studying Applied Arts, she developed her talent through silk painting, a practice that refined her sense of color and mastery of line. This apprenticeship allowed her to perfect her technique before turning to oil painting, a medium that became her true mode of expression. Between shadows and lights, transparencies and opacities, her works reflect a constant search for harmony and emotion.

Her passion for color leads her to dry pastel, a medium she works with with the sensitivity of a painter, allowing her to capture vibrant hues and a unique velvety texture. Inspired by nature, Agnès Tiollier draws her subjects from the heart of remarkable gardens, landscapes filled with light and wonder. Among her inspirations are Monet's garden in Giverny and Yves Saint Laurent's famous Majorelle garden, to which she has dedicated around twenty works.

She exhibits in France and abroad and is a member of the Société des pastellistes de France. She regularly participates in the Art Capital fair, among other things, and has been awarded prizes for both pastel and painting.

Today, Agnès Tiollier's creations are part of many private collections in France and internationally, testifying to her talent and her unique artistic universe. Through her art, she invites us on a sensory journey where light and color become real emotions.
