Mahé Ros's painting is conceived as a dream catcher that captures a joyful imagination in which dreamlike decryption is achieved through aesthetic contemplation as well as enchantment. Away from the world, far from the flow of images, the artist's poetry enters symbolically with a way of putting things as clues.
His dreamlike universe, sometimes abstract, sometimes figurative, merges with the stars and sparkling nature where the melodies of happiness sing: music and musicians, blue cats and dogs, unicorns or puppets and other subjects, all dialoguing between characters from here or elsewhere and keepers of silence. Earth and cosmos intertwine in an embodied enchantment where the soul listens to itself in silence.
Mahé Ros is inspired by tales, legends, mythologies, sometimes by his dreams but also by authors such as W. Blake, C. G. Jung or K. Raine who join his "hallucinated" and modern atmosphere.
"Each of my paintings tells their own story and of course I include mine."
