Biography
Dominique Emard is a French artist born in 1960. He has a degree in Fine arts (painting and cinema) from the Institute of Visual Arts of Orleans
He teaches drawing and painting and works as a set designer as well. His pieces are composed from the strenght of a line, a colored key of a park or a lake, and elements such as the streets, buildings and avenues are synthetized and refined and punctuate his pieces which are at the boundary between abstraction and figuration.
His work has been exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Paris, Lille, Brussels and Rouen. His work is already part of numerous private collections in Germany, Belgium, United States, France and the Netherlands.
