Born in 1950, lives and works in Paris

After many detours, a long period of living in Provence, and a stay in the USA, I live and work in Paris.

Various survival activities that have constantly immersed me in the daily life, have gradually led me to think that the artist would be a kind of dung beetle, which would appropriate parcels of reality, visible or invisible, and would reject, in some way, a fertile ground to its congeners.

"My sources of inspiration are varied; music for its abstraction, and also the natural sciences (images of the microscope for example) where we find this back and forth between the look of detail and the global vision.

Variations on the shadow, mystery and imaginary secret.

Variations from black and white to color: grays punctuated by lines; passage from black and white which privileges forms and abstraction, to sensual color from which emerges the drawing, when the shadow becomes a sign.

Variations from figurative to abstract like a ridge line; composing; breaking down into discontinuous lines whatever the starting point!
