Biography
I live and work in Bamako, Mali
I am a professional painter, I am self-taught in plastic art, I started art at the age of 9 in my hometown which is Segou, the fourth region of Mali, and also the capital of Malian culture.
The style that I generally use is BOGOLAN, a traditional style with high symbolic power but also contemporary to our days. BOGOLAN is a style of painting that uses the leaves, roots and bark of certain trees from our country, it is a style created at the time of the Mandingo empire by our ancestors precisely in Mali."
