José Luis Cuevas is an artist born in 1934 in Mexico City. He is a painter, printmaker, sculptor, mural painter and illustrator.
He was an important player in the birth of modern Mexican art. The José Luis Cuevas museum in Mexico City owns and exhibits many of his works.
