Tatiana Elizarova

Tatiana Elizarova is an artist born in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia, who currently lives and works in Moscow. She graduated from the Moscow Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov in 2019 and completed the Free Workshops program at the School of Contemporary Art of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art in 2023. Elizarova primarily works with painting, printmaking, and objects. Her works are part of the collection of the State Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In her artistic practice, Elizarova explores themes of self-determination and control in a constantly changing world. She is particularly interested in communication within a society lacking stability and in how individuals respond to the relentless shifts in their environment. Her works capture the continuous struggle of human beings to define themselves, maintain balance, and question the essence of humanity and its fundamental values. She often draws inspiration from her own experiences to inform her artistic research.

She combines classical materials and techniques, such as oil on canvas and printmaking, with the flexibility and versatility of new technologies and media, creating a dialogue between tradition and innovation in her art.
