J. Asensio

 Asensio Mariné (Barcelona, 1890-1961) was a painter who specialized in landscapes, figures and still lifes of marked realism, that carried out a handful of personal and collective exhibitions in different places of Spain and Latin America with undoubted success. The artist was self-taught and filled with sentimental colors and emotions the support of his compositions while surviving with dignity with a small business of ties.

Asensio Mariné stood out as a landscaper when capturing places in Catalonia and Balearic Islands in which light floods with sensations the support where he spontaneously deposits the essence of the space portrayed with light or stained brush strokes that sensitively define its fundamental characteristic
