Domingo Alvarez

Domingo Álvarez was born on June 29 in 1942, in Barcelona. Signature si- com with its name of background and as Domingo has to be. Since childhood shows his interest in drawing and painting. While attending his studies he goes to a private art school at night.

Self-taught, from a very young age he becomes known as an illustrator and works for various book and magazine publishers (initially from Illustrated Selections). At the age of fifteen he entered the world of enlightenment, where he achieved success in almost all of Europe and especially in Britain with a series of romantic comics and endless war stories. At the same time as for Great Britain, he also draws for our country, being one of the followers of the series Delta 99 and Gringo. His next step was the color illustration of covers and interiors for books and magazines that were published in Great Britain and Scandinavia. This forced him to perfect his technique of drawing and the use of the materials for the color; Tempera, oil and cake, where he has achieved a great technique.
