Biography
Born in 1973 in Santander, Spain, Juan Porrero, a big admirer of Goya's work, studied painting at the School of Fine Arts in Salamanca and at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
He has a doctorate in esthetics from the University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, where he taught painting between 2003 and 2007.
