Biography
Jordi Pinto was born in Cardona, Catalonia in 1968. He graduated from Beaux Arts, with majors in painting and engraving and later went on to do a training in design and philosophy.
Currently, the artist lives and works in Barcelona.
Among his influences are: constructivism, Fauvism, structuralism, metaphysical painting and cubism.
His works are typically known for their precise and vigorous brush strokes, main aim is to create a fantasy world, situated between chaos and order. Illusion and humor are combined with a work on symbols, giving rise to this little world filled with naivety. Jordi Pinto manages to create harmony through composition and the use of bright colors, making his creations very personal.
