Biography
Marko Righo is a French artist living and working in London. He is the cofounder of MKII a multi platform creative space/ gallery/ film and photographic studio in Clapton, Hackney.
He is a contributor of an exciting collective of photographers called Dobedo and is involved in teaching, curating, book publishing and charity projects in and around visual arts. He has been working in the photography industry for ten years before graduating from a Master of Photographic Studies from the University of Westminster in 2013.
Marko Righo's work is a mixture of photography, collages, sculptures, carpentry and art installations. His most recent works are computer-based collages in which the computer tool, its interfaces and programs are integral part of the process to create a new random digital aesthetic. This last project was short listed for the ThreadNeedle prize in London 2013.
