Biography

Cornelia Parker’s work is represented in many international collections including Arts Council England, Tate Gallery, London, Henry Moore Foundation, British Museum, Yale Center for British Art, USA and MOMA, New York. She was shortlisted for the Turner Prize in 1997.

Cornelia Parker's career is currently the object of a retrospective at Manchester University's Whitworth Art Gallery (until 31 May 2015). Other recent solo shows include Frith Street Gallery (2013), ‘The Unseen’ at the Ghangzhou Triennial (2012). ‘Rorschach (Accidental III)’ at d’Amelio Terras Gallery, NYC; ‘Doubtful Sound’ at Baltic, Gateshead (2010);‘Chomskian Abstract’, Whitechapel Gallery, London (2008).
