Biography

Francene Christianson graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with a B.A. in Art. Her career in advertising and graphic design included art direction for several creative agencies in New York and Los Angeles, including Ogilvy & Mather and Grey Advertising. After her commercial career, she returned to fine art. Her figures, landscapes and commissioned works have been placed in private collections across the country.

Francene Christianson's career in advertising and graphic design includes art direction for several creative agencies in New York and Los Angeles. In 2005, she returned to fine art. Her figures, landscapes, and commissioned works have appeared and sold in galleries in the Twin Cities, Dallas, Napa and Los Angeles, and her paintings have been placed in private collections across the country. She currently lives in the Dallas / Fort Worth area, where she has a studio in the Trinity Groves area of Dallas now known as the Tin District.
