Biography

I started painting in the 2000s, following a long path of acrylic drawings copied onto various materials, until I discovered oil in 2005, which became my favourite medium the first time I used it on a real canvas stretcher. This excursion into painting began with a need for colour, which spontaneously developed into a search for light.

Considering that nature is the greatest architect, I set off in search of the right technique to depict my “marvellous” interior landscapes, populated mainly by trees and forests under necessarily radiant skies. These classic settings for figurative canvases have become my subject, transforming from a useful ornament into a primordial environment.

My creative process is the fruit of many years of research and is based on a logic of pure, spontaneous invention. Each canvas undergoes my trials, attempts and successes, producing a unique landscape housed in my universe.

My current: the marvellous and romantic real. Self-taught, passionate and curious, I love to paint, write and work with all kinds of materials with a piece of blue sky in front of my eyes. I live in Gréoux les Bains, facing the hills where I love to go for walks.
