Like the other collections, Backstage respects certain principles of the Un Anonyme Nu Dans Le Salon project: models who have generally never posed before, who are not selected or chosen in any way, and where each participant will become part of the collection via a single unretouched photograph.

The Backstage collection is mainly inspired by the 50s and 60s. If the 70s were synonymous with liberation, this was especially true for the general public, who followed the trendsetters of the 50s and 60s. It was a few years before the first to think about the evolution of mentalities and the relationship with the body, as well as sexual liberation and morals.

Cigarettes, whisky, blues and checkerboards reflect the world of Idan Wizen's inspirations and references, including Serge Gainsbourg, Jean-Loup Sieff and Tim Burton. A world of the '50s filled with anachronisms in the bodies featured. Two distinct graphic elements, the black-and-white checkerboard on the floor and a black-and-white striped chaise longue, offer intriguing and unsettling plays on perspective and contrast, evoking the duality of a time when opinions and differences were very strong and radical.
