The ONEIRO gallery is pleased to present the first exhibition of Korean sculptor Sun-Hyuk Kim in France. It was decided to also show some of his recent paintings. Sun-Hyuk Kim's sculptures have been exhibited in Korean galleries and institutions and are part of several private collections. His creations speak of man, his life, his aspirations and his fears. It also explores the issue of discontent which has become a kind of disease of the 21st century. The artist builds a world in which there is no distinction between man and nature. This link between man and his environment is very visible in the visual interpretation of his works and even in his production technique. The artist transforms steel rods into organic shapes: roots, branches, blood vessels. Without going into details, he reveals his universe to us through an artistic language that is both simple and faithful.
